The Bush administration $700 billion proposed bailout is just what the Miami real estate market needs. The government will buy bad loans from financial institutions and so it will enable the banks to continue its day to day operations after writing off billions of dollars of delinquent loans from their books. This bailout should ease the financial industry’s grip on loan qualification and allow more buyers to qualify for mortgage loans.

The “mother of all bailouts” will help homeowners keep their homes and stop the foreclosure epidemic almost overnight. It will stop the continuing decline of home values and get our real estate market dependent economy going. The bailout will mark the bottom of the Miami real estate market and home prices will stabilize.
